Jaleb

(Not to be confused with Jalebi.) Jaleb is a French comic book character created by writer Claude J. Legrand and artist Annibale Casabianca for French publisher Editions Lug in 1972. Jaleb is an alien abandoned on Earth as a baby. Raised by the Jellicoe family, he eventually discovers that he has the power of telepathy. Jaleb eventually meets others like him on Earth. Then he discovers that he comes from a galactic federation torn by a civil war between the ruling class of telepaths and the non-telepaths. After helping the non-telepaths win the war, Jaled chooses to return to Earth as an agent of the Federation.
