Makani Kai Air, a subsidiary of Schuman Aviation Company, Ltd., is a commuter and charter airline based in Honolulu, Hawaii. The airline offers scheduled passenger service from Honolulu International Airport to Molokai Airport, and to Kalaupapa Airport (also on the island of Molokai). On June 1, 2015, the airline begins service between Molokai and Kahului and Kapalua on Maui. The airline charges a flat $50 airfare for every seat on every flight on its routes between Oahu, Molokai and Maui. The scheduled service between Kalaupapa to Molokai Airport is among the shortest scheduled flights in the world.
