Manakin-Sabot, consisting of the villages of Manakin and Sabot, is an unincorporated community in Goochland County, Virginia, United States. It is located northwest of Richmond and is part of the Greater Richmond region. The area is home to several country clubs as well as the historic Deep Run Hunt Club, host of a number of regional and national horse shows. The hunt club maintains miles of horse trails throughout the community for its equestrian neighbors. Justin Verlander, pitcher for the Detroit Tigers, was raised in Manakin-Sabot.
