Manor Independent School District
Manor Independent School District is a public school district based in Manor, Texas (USA). The current superintendent is Dr. Royce Avery. In addition to Manor, the district also serves a wide section of Austin, and additional portions of Pflugerville, Elgin, Webberville, and Taylor. In 2009, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency. As of 2013 MISD covers 21.8 square miles (56 km2) of land within the City of Austin, making up 6.9% of the city's territory.
