Municipal Service Car
Municipal Service Car was a concept streetcar that was considered by the Toronto Transit Commission in the 1970s to replace its ageing PCC fleet. The project began in 1972 and was a cooperative venture between Hawker Siddeley Canada and the Toronto Transit Commission. The vehicle had a bus-like chassis and was a semi-low floor vehicle. Front and rear doors are similar to the current TTC car fleet. No vehicles were produced, and only concept drawings remain of this vehicle.
