Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape
The Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape people (also known as Nanticoke Lenape) are a tribal confederation of Nanticoke of the Delmarva Peninsula and the Lenape of southern New Jersey and northern Delaware. They reorganized and have elected governments since the 1970s but have not achieved federal recognition. The state of New Jersey does not recognize any American Indian tribes within its boundaries and says it does not have any process to do so.
