Nomi, Ishikawa

Nomi (能美市 Nomi-shi) is a city located in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. As of January 1, 2005 population data, the city has an estimated population of 47,826 and a population density of 570 persons per km². The total area is 83.85 km². The modern city of Nomi was established on February 1, 2005, from the merger of the towns of Neagari, Tatsunokuchi and Terai (all from Nomi District).
