Oboyan

Oboyan (Russian: Обоя́нь) is a town and the administrative center of Oboyansky District in Kursk Oblast, Russia, located on the right bank of the Psyol River at its confluence with the Oboyanka River, 60 kilometers (37 mi) south of Kursk, the administrative center of the oblast. Population: 13,565 (2010 Census); 14,618 (2002 Census); 15,360 (1989 Census).
