Rocca Bernauda
Rocca Bernauda, in French Roche Bernaude, is a mountain of the Alps of 3,225 metres (10,581 ft). It is the most western point of Italy after the cession of Valle Stretta (Vallée Étroite) with the Paris Peace Treaties of 1947. It's situated in the Cottian Alps close to Bardonecchia between the Susa Valley, Durance and Maurienne Valley With the Arc river. Geologically is composed by quartzites and gneiss, especially on the peak.
