Scotland was sired by Peter Scott, he by Peter The Great, who was sired by Pilot Medium, he by Happy Medium and he by Hambletonian 10. Alma Lee was also a great-great-great-great granddaughter of Hambletonian 10. Rosalind won the 1936 Hambletonian at Good Time Park in Goshen, New York the best mile in 2:01¾, a stake mark. She once raced in double harness, hitched to the great trotting gelding Greyhound. Rosalind set a world record of 1:56 3/4 and won twenty-seven races during her career.
