Saint Francis School, Deoghar, Jharkhand, India is an English medium school at the temple-town of Baidyanathdham, Deoghar. It is affiliated to CISCE, New Delhi. It was established in the year 1970 by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Bhagalpur, under the aegis of the Franciscan Friars (Third Order Regular of St. Francis)[1]. The motto of the school is "Let Your Light Shine". Francis of Assissi is the patron of the school. The school is famous for high academic achievements in the region and has very well-placed and eminent alumni working in the field of science, technology, business, entertainment and public services. In the year 2016, a boy of this school was the Jharkhand State Topper of ICSE. The students perform very well in national competitive examinations : IIT-JEE, Medical entrance
