Scammon Bay, Alaska

Scammon Bay (Marayaaq in Central Yup'ik) is a city in Kusilvak Census Area, Alaska, United States. At the 2010 census the population was 474. It is named after a salmon dish that originates there, called "scrambled salmon", or "scammon" for short, where eggs and salmon are fried in a pan together and cooked like scrambled eggs.
