Suede (band)

Suede (known as The London Suede in the United States) are an English alternative rock band whose hit singles include Animal Nitrate, Trash, Beautiful Ones, and She's in Fashion. Formed in London in 1989, the band originally consisted of singer/songwriter Brett Anderson, guitarist/songwriter Bernard Butler, bass player Mat Osman, and drummer Simon Gilbert. Butler left the band in 1994 and was replaced by Richard Oakes on guitar and Neil Codling on keyboards. Having split up in 2003, the Coming Up/Head Music line-up of the band reformed in 2010.
