Trine University, formerly known as Tri-State University, is a private, non-profit, post-secondary institution located in Angola, Indiana. The school was founded in 1884, and offers degrees in the arts and sciences, business, education and engineering. Trine University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. It operates several satellite campuses across northern and central Indiana, with campuses also in Centreville, Michigan, and Peoria, Arizona.
