Vienna Psychoanalytic Society

The Vienna Psychoanalytic Society (German: Wiener Psychoanalytische Vereinigung, WPV), formerly known as the Wednesday Psychological Society, is the oldest psychoanalysis society in the world. It commenced meetings in Sigmund Freud's apartment in 1902. By 1908 the group adopted its new name and was the international psychoanalytic authority of the time.
