2008 Baltimore Orioles season

The Baltimore Orioles entered the 2008 season led by Dave Trembley, now starting his first full season as manager. President of Baseball Operations Andy MacPhail continued the rebuilding process. Superstars Miguel Tejada and Érik Bédard were traded for younger talent and there were talks of Brian Roberts, but he was not traded. The Baltimore Orioles posted a record of 68–93 and finished in last place in the AL East for the first time since the 1988 season.
