2009–10 Superleague Greece

The 2009–10 Super League Greece season is the fourth since its establishment. The league consists of 16 teams. Participants are the 13 best teams from the 2008–09 season and three teams that have been promoted from the Beta Ethniki. On 11 April 2010, Panathinaikos won 2–0 against Iraklis to secure their 20th Greek title and their first in six years. This year Panathinaikos FC budget was bigger than the previous champion Olympiakos FC after many years . Panathinaikos made quality transfers like Cissé, Leto and Katsouranis.
