2015–16 Ligue 1 (Senegal)

The 2014-15 Ligue 1 season was the 53rd of the competition of the first-tier football in Senegal and the eighth professional season. The tournament was organized by the Fédération Sénégalaise de Football (Senegalese Football Federation). The season began earlier on 6 December and finished later oon 26 July. It was the seventh season labelled as a "League" ("Ligue" in French). The island based club from the east of the Dakar area US Gorée won their fourth and recent title, and a year later will compete in the 2017 CAF Champions League. NGB ASC Niarry Tally, winner of the 2015 Senegalese Cup will participate for the first time in the 2017 CAF Confederation Cup the following season.
