2015 FIBA Under-19 World Championship

The 2015 FIBA Under-19 World Championship was hosted by Heraklion, Greece, from 27 June to 5 July 2015.It was the third time that Greece hosts the FIBA Under-19 World Championship since 1995 in Athens, when Greece won the gold medal. Greece also hosted the 2003 tournament in Thessaloniki. As a result of FIBA rules changes, made effective as of 1 October 2014, this tournament marked the first time that the FIBA Under-19 World Championship used instant replay to review controversial plays and where players were allowed to wear any jersey with numbers from "00" to "99".
