2016 Norwegian First Division
The 2016 Norwegian First Division (known as OBOS-ligaen for sponsorship reasons) is Norway's second-tier football league. The league will be contested by 16 teams, and the top two teams will be promoted to Tippeligaen, while the teams placed from third to sixth place will play a promotion-playoff against the 14th-placed team in Tippeligaen to win promotion. The bottom four teams will be relegated to the Second Division.
