"A cidade (até ser dia)" ("The city (until dawn)") was the Portuguese entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1993, performed in Portuguese by Anabela. The song is a ballad about the mystique that a city can have from dusk until dawn. She describes it as being a "dream", and that "There's a glow in the air". The English version of this song was called "Nightfall in the city". It was succeeded as Portuguese representative at the 1994 Contest by Sara Tavares with "Chamar a música".
