Abdullahi Aliyu Sumaila

Abdullahi Aliyu Sumaila (21 March 1946 – 11 January 2003) was a fulani from the clan of Jobawa, he was a Nigerian politician and administrator. One of the first administrators to inherit the post first republican administrative structure instituted by the military, many of his administrative reforms where integrated into the bureaucracy of the Nigerian federation.A graduate of Ahmadu Bello University. His working experience started with the Kano Local Education Authority where he trained a number of administrators like Kabiru Ibrahim Gaya. He served as an Assistant Secretary at the Cabinet Office and Ministry of Information and Home Affairs and Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Works and Transport and the Civil Service Commission. He was also the Secretary of the Kano State Executive
