Afro-Honduran
Afro-Honduran are Hondurans of African descent. They descended from African slaves imported by the Spanish, Garifunas and Creole peoples. The Creole people are originally from Jamaica and other Caribbean islands, and arrived in Honduras between the nineteenth and early twentieth century to work on the export of bananas and in construction.
