Agaraea semivitrea

Agaraea semivitrea is a moth of the family Erebidae. It was described by Rothschild in 1909. It is found from northern South America, including Venezuela and Peru north to Texas. The wingspan is 26–38 mm. The forewings are semitransparent, pale gray with dark veins. There is a diffuse black spot near the center of the wing. The hindwings are paler and without a black spot. Adults are on wing year-round in Costa Rica.
