Allah Selamatkan Sultan Kami

Allah Selamatkan Sultan Kami (God, Save Our Sultan) is the official anthem of Pahang. Historically, the state anthem of Pahang, the fourth of the Federated Malay States in the early years, was a result of a competition held in 1923. Dorothy Lilian Sworder (1892–1982), the daughter of the Agricultural Officer in Pekan at that time, sent an entry. She was a talented musician and her composition was chosen. She later married a Medical Officer, Dr. William Samuel Leicester (1880–1960), and lived in Kuantan for many years.
