Beja Palace

Beja State was The Princely State and semi-sovereign kingdom of India (Himanchal Pradesh) from the 18th century till 15 April 1948. It was ruled by the Tomara dynasty (Tunwar) who own the title of Thakur. It is located just below Kasauli to the west and was surrounded by other princely states of that period namelyMahlog, Patiala State, Kuthar State and the Bharauli tract of Simla District around Sabathu. Beja was a small state having 45 villages.Area of this State wasonly 13 km2 or 5 mi2 with 1,131 subjects. Beja is one of the original constituent members of the Chamber of Princes.
