Bernardo Javalquinto-Lagos

Bernardo Javalquinto-Lagos (born November 16, 1961) is a Latin American economist and educator. Born to a family of Chilean descent, Javalquinto-Lagos was born in New York, New York and raised in Egypt. He is perhaps most known for being the founder of the Yunus School of Social Business, teaching students economics and conducting research about business and development around the world. Javalquinto Lagos worked at the World Bank in Washington D.C. from 1988 to 1992. He continues to pursue government and politics while conducting international finance and business endeavours.
