The songs begin with a very high pitched vocal and end in a low vocal. The best known players are Tufan Altaş, Aşık Hüseyin, Muharrem Ertaş, Neşet Ertaş, Mustafa Tatlıtürk, Çekiç Ali, Hacı Taşan, and Bedia Akartürk.
