Colombo Football Club or simply Colombo FC is a professional football club based in Colombo. The club play in the Premier Division, the top flight of Sri Lankan football. They are 2015 FA Cup Champions sponsored by Cargills Ceylon, after they beat Blue Star SC 1–0 in the final on July 4, 2015 at the Sugathadasa Stadium. In Division 2 2011/12 season Colombo FC lost in the Semi Finals to eventual champions Solid 5–4 penalties after a 1–1 game. That year the 4 semi finalist teams were promoted to a Division 1 namely, Solid FC, Matara SC, Super Sun and Colombo FC
