The Crossosomatales are an order, newly recognized by the APG II, of flowering plants, included within the Rosids, which are part of the eudicots. The following three families are placed here: * Family Crossosomataceae * Family Stachyuraceae * Family Staphyleaceae Under the Cronquist system these were placed in the Rosales, Violales, and Sapindales, respectively. The APG III system of 2009 includes more families in this order:
