Dan Engel

Dan C. Engel, an American CEO and entrepreneur, was born in 1976 in The Bronx, New York City. He has been in the e-commerce and software industries since 1997. Engel led customer acquisition at Picasa, Google, FastSpring, GoToMeeting and GoToMyPC. Starting in 2015, Engel co-founded Mobile1st and serves as CEO of the cloud-based mobile web performance optimization company. Engel graduated from Tulane University in 1998 with a major in finance, and he is a member of Young Presidents' Organization. He sits on various tech company boards of directors and advisers. As of 2016, Engel lives in Santa Barbara, California with his wife, Emily, a professor of art history at College of Mount Saint Vincent, and their two children.
