Eledoisin is an undecapeptide of mollusk origin, belonging to the tachykinin family of neuropeptides. It was first isolated from the posterior salivary glands of two mollusk species Eledone muschata and Eledone aldovandi, which belong to the octopod order of Cephalopoda.
