The Florida Air National Guard is the air force militia of the State of Florida and, as part of the air force militia of the United States, is part of the Air National Guard. On a state level, along with the Florida Army National Guard, it is also an element of the Florida National Guard. As an Air Force organization, it also part of the Air Reserve Component (ARC) of the U.S. Air Force, a position it shares with its "federal" ARC partner, the Air Force Reserve Command.
