Frydek (/ˈfraɪdᵻk/ FRY-dək) is an unincorporated community in southeastern Austin County, Texas, United States. It is located on FM 1458 south of the town of San Felipe. The area was first settled by Anglo-Americans in the 1820s but it did not become a community until a number of Czechs made homes there in 1895.
