Gin-Ryu

Gin-Ryu is an award-winning graphic novel series noted as having the most realistic portrayal of the martial arts in comics by the EUSAIMAA. The series was created by Black Belt Hall of Fame martial artist Grand Master Stephen J. Egged. Gin-Ryu was first released as five comic issues in 1994, and an omnibus edition titled Vigilant Effort (with reworked additional art by Frank Parr and Wes Simpson as well as a retooled script by Stephen J. Egged) was released in April 2012. The book narrates the Saga of Gin-Ryu, a sacred Japanese katana and its many owners across the centuries.
