Gujarat National Law University (Gujarati: ગુજરાત રાષ્ટ્રીય વિધી વિશ્વવિદ્યાલય) (GNLU) is a National Law University established under the Gujarat National Law University Act, 2003" in the state of Gujarat. Regarded as one of the most prestigious law universities in India, the university is located at Gandhinagar, which is the capital of Gujarat and is located 7 kilometers north of the city of Ahmedabad. The statute provides that the Chief Justice of India or a Senior Supreme Court Judge serve as the Visitor of the university. The Director, Dr. Bimal N.
