Gunjial Janubi

Gunjial is a village located near the Soon Sakesar valley and one of the 51 Union Councils (administrative subdivisions) of Khushab District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. The village is home to the Gunjial tribe which is further divided into sub-clans or Khails.Gunjial is an ancient Malik tribe linked to agriculture.Wheat, sugarcane, rice, cotton and citrus fruits are the main growths.The area is very rich on minerals, salt, limestone and coal from the Salt Range. Farming of animals is another big source of income for the locals.
