The principal is Ric Raycroft. The mascot is the hawk. The Hanahan Hawks football team had a region-winning streak of 46 games. That was the second longest streak in the state of South Carolina (1st was Stratford High School, 51 games). The streak ended with a loss at Andrews High School 26-28 in 2006.
