Holy Family Catholic Academy
Holy Family Catholic Academy (known locally as HFCA) opened in September 2013 and is an Academy sponsored by the Nottingham Roman Catholic Diocese Education Service (NRCDES). HFCA was preceded by St Andrew’s College a joint church school that opened in September 2010 following the amalgamation of Matthew Humberstone C of E School and St Mary’s Catholic High School. Both predecessor schools to St Andrew’s College were supported by the National Challenge and were deemed to be Grade 3 schools in their last Ofsted Section 5 inspection reports, in 2009 and 2007 respectively.
