Hyperwords

Hyperwords was a term used for interactive text. Whereas the term hyperlinks means words that are linked to specific destinations, hyperwords refers to enabling any word to be made to interact with other programs such as emails, dictionaries, on-line translators etc. through a simple set of commands. The project is now known as Liquid Information or simply "Liquid", dropping the hyper- prefix that stood for hypertext in favor of a more general term for interactive text. The company's advisory board includes Douglas Engelbart, Ted Nelson, Vint Cerf, Dave Farber, Bruce Horn and Douglas Rushkoff.
