Institute of Business Administration, Karachi

The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) is an independent university in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Founded in 1955, it is the oldest business school in Asia. IBA was established in 1955 in collaboration with the Wharton School and University of Southern California under a USAID backed project. It remained a constituent business school within the University of Karachi until, in 1994, when it's status was elevated to an independent chartered university by the Sindh government. Since 2003, IBA has expanded from a purely business school to an interdisciplinarity university.
