Jhakrithan

Jhakrithan is a religious site located near Khalanga, the headquarter of Pyuthan . It has a stairway to reach the temple. Animals such as chickens, pigeons and goats are sacrificed there because of the belief that the sacrificed animal there will make the god listen to the prayer. Many people visit Jhakrithan due to the belief that the wishes asked there are always answered. The temples lies away from the Khalanga village. A small river flows beside the temple.Jhakrithan temple is surrounded by a small forest. It is believed that the god JHAKRITHAN lives there.
