Kosmos 2424

Kosmos 2424 (Russian: Космос 2424 meaning Cosmos 2424) is one of a set of three Russian military satellites launched in 2006 as part of the GLONASS satellite navigation system. It was launched with Kosmos 2425 and Kosmos 2426. This satellite is a GLONASS-M satellite, also known as Uragan-M, and is numbered Uragan-M No. 715. It is in the second orbital plane in orbital slot 14. It started operations on 3 April 2007.
