Lamont (band)

Lamont was a stoner rock trio founded in 1998 in Allston, Massachusetts, USA. Critics have described their sound as raw 1970s AC/DC style rock and roll mixed with Iggy Pop vocals and bluesy punk. They have opened for artists including Mojo Nixon, Reverend Horton Heat, and Drive-By Truckers as well as appearing at the Emissions from the Monolith festivals. Their song "Hotwire", from their 2002 album Thunder Boogie, was included in the video game Tony Hawk's Underground.
