Lindsay Johnstone Watt is a retired diplomat of New Zealand. * Lindsay Johnstone Watt is the son of G. J. Watt, Commissioner of Crown Lands, Christchurch. * He is a M.A. (Hons.). * From 1948 to 1951 he was day boy in the St. Andrew's College, Christchurch. * From 1960 to 1963 he was third secretary at the mission of New Zealand to the Headquarters of the United Nations in New York City. * In 1969 he was first secretary of embassy in Bangkok. * In 1976 he was counsellor at the High Commission of New Zealand, London. * From February 16, 1980 to March 17, 1982 he was Representatives of New Zealand to the Cook Islands. * From 1982 to 1985 he was High Commissioner in Suva Fiji. * From 1985 to 1990 he was ambassador in Beijing. * From 1993 to 2003 he was Administrator of Tokelau.
