The following is a list of characters who first appeared in the first series of school drama Waterloo Road, in order of first appearance. The series ran for eight episodes from March 9 to April 27, 2006. The first episode introduces the main cast, which consists of members of staff at the school. Headed up by newly promoted Headmaster , Deputy Head and Head of Pastoral Care , the main cast also includes English teachers , and and French teacher . Head of English and school secretary feature as supporting characters, along with Izzie's children and and Chlo's boyfriend . Chlo and Mika's father also appears, as does Donte's father and Grantly's wife . Pupils and are introduced in episode two, and appears from episode three.
