Maldon & Tiptree Football Club is an English football club based in Maldon, Essex. The club competes in the Isthmian League Division One North, the eighth tier of the English football league system. Founded in 1946, the club spent it's early years in the Chelmsford & Mid-Essex and the North Essex leagues, where they were Premier Division champions for two consecutive seasons, before joining the Essex and Suffolk Border Football League. They were champions of the league in the 1965–66 season. The club then spent six seasons in the Eastern Counties Football League between 1966 and 1972, when they resigned to join the Essex Senior Football League. They won the league in the 1984–85 season, before returning to the Eastern Counties League in 1996. They were promoted to the Premier Division in 1
