Mar del Plata Sevens

The Mar del Plata Sevens (Seven de Mar del Plata in Spanish) is a traditional rugby sevens competition, played annually in Mar del Plata, Argentina, since 1995, when it was won by New Zealand. There was no competition in 1996 and 97. It was resumed again in 1998. In 2000, the tournament hosted the first edition of the World Series.
