Marshalls has over 975 conventional stores, including larger stores named Marshalls Mega Store, covering 42 states and Puerto Rico, and 38 stores in Canada. Marshalls first expanded into Canada in March 2011. Marshalls is the U.S.'s second largest off-price family apparel and home fashion retailer, behind its sister company, T.J. Maxx.
