Mary Finlay Geoghegan

Mary Finlay Geoghegan is a judge of the Irish Court of Appeal since 2014. Prior to her appointment, she was a judge of the Irish High Court from 2002. She was educated at University College Dublin, the College of Europe, Bruges, and the Law Society of Ireland. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 1973, called to the Bar in 1980 and became a Senior Counsel in 1988. In the High Court, she was assigned to the Commercial list since 2004. She was in charge of the Examiners Court list and the Hague Convention on Child Abduction list.
